It has just occurred to me that my external hard drive, which I named Dexter (as in Dexternal Hard Drive) does not contain a single episode of the television show of the same name. I will change that.

Holy crap. I haven't been satisfied with Showtime's Dexter in quite some time. Usually the show is quite annoying to watch and I find myself regretting the use of bandwidth on avi files. However the episode which aired last Sunday was definitely worth it. I still don't care about most of the show's characters, and there was an acceptable portion of cheese, but overall it was definitely the highlight of the season; and much better than anything shown in the last.
There needs to be more television shows that are worthwhile. At least Community is on tonight.

Due to a labour disruption, DriveTest centres province wide are unable to conduct business resulting in the closure of all offices. This message will be updated upon the resumption of normal services.
All road tests scheduled during the labour disruption may be rescheduled at no additional charge upon the resumption of services. If you have a road test booked within the next 48 hours, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CANCEL THIS TEST – IT WILL BE CANCELLED AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT PENALTY.
The automated road test booking systems will remain open during the labour disruption for your convenience. Click here to go to the booking system or call the Automated Phone booking line at 1-888-570-6110 or 416-325-8580.
Since we are unable to advise the date at which normal service will resume, we recommend that if you are booking or rescheduling a road test appointment, you select an appointment date at least four business days into the future.
If you hold a licence that requires testing prior to renewal and is about to expire, the Ministry of Transportation has extended your expiry until after the end of the labour disruption. You do not need to do anything to ensure that your licence remains valid at this time.

I stayed up all night. I do this a lot, so no one should be surprised. If you are surprised, then I apologize for expecting more of you.
I'm going to try and go to sleep later tonight. By that, of course, I mean some time past 6 PM. With each passing second I find myself closer to victory. It's nice to live with simple goals such as "open your eyes for a while."
I've decided to ride my bike. I need to start riding my bike more often. I'm going to drink a ton of water and then go downtown. It's not a hazing ritual or anything. I'm just going to ride around, then head to Dr.Disc. Hopefully a record I saw the last time I was there is still available. Perhaps something else will catch my eye?
It's Thursday. Tomorrow will be Friday. I'm going to try and put out resumes tomorrow because I haven't done that yet. No one should be surprised. If you are surprised, then I apologize for expecting more from me.

I just realized that PhogPhest is on Slurpee Day. I am considering getting a ticket just so that I can ride my bike around town all day and wind up listening to some live music that might be kind of okay. Considering the big draw is Holy Fasterisk, and I don't really have a strong connection to the band, I haven't really been too interested in dropping $15 to watch their unknown opening acts for 12 hours before they show up.
Though really, I don't think I've read over the set list in much detail at all.
I've decided that Warped Tour isn't important enough to get a passport. Going to Warped Tour just so that I can say "I've gone to Warped Tour 4 years in a row" is not a good reason to go. It should be about the music (and minimally about the merch), and that just isn't so strong this year. Really if it wasn't for Reel Big Fish, I probably wouldn't have wanted to go last year, either. If there's one thing that I hope for PhogPhest, it's that bigger acts wind up in Windsor; and not just at the Casino.
I think I will cook a grilled cheese. I've been wanting to cook french toast for a few days, but I don't think I will try that; unsupervised in a kitchen that is not my own.
